Selected Bibliographies of American Imprints published by the American Antiquarian Society.

The Story:

Along with computer records and databases, Isaiah Thomas’s vision of a comprehensive early American imprints bibliography has been augmented through the Society’s own publication program. Many of the Society’s printed bibliographies—covering books, broadsides, periodicals, newspapers, music, prints, and other genres—remain standard references in their specialized fields.
