The Story:
The earliest of many books donated by Charles L. Nichols, A Little Book for Little Children was the second American children’s book of religious narratives of pious children who died young, following James Janeway’s A Token for Children. Both were printed by Timothy Green. This copy, one of only three recorded, was owned by two children from Rowley, Massachusetts.
