The Story:
AAS actively seeks examples of transatlantic publishing, and this recent acquisition is one of the more unusual. Although the title page has a Cornersburg, Ohio, imprint this volume bears title wording, pagination, and illustrations identical to those of several 1830’s Reutlingen editions. Careful examination reveals the Cornersburg imprint to be a cancel slip pasted over the original Reutlingen imprint.
