The Story:

As a member of the family which ran the Boston Globe, Charles Henry Taylor collected publications related to the history of journalism. Among his gifts to the Society were runs of important American newspapers, including this issue—the second earliest at AAS—of The New-England Courant, published in Boston by James Franklin from 1721 to 1726.
