Editing Cooper

The bookshelf below contains published volumes from The Writings of James Fenimore Cooper, or the Cooper Edition, along with some of the original editions of the books republished in the Cooper Edition. The Society has long been a sponsor of the Cooper Edition, which saw the publication of its first volume in 1980 and bears the seal of the Committee on Scholarly Editions.
