The Cambridge Press, the Indian College at Harvard, and the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in New England supported the publication of Algonquian-language translations in various ways.  The press at Cambridge provided the tool for producing the translations, while the Indian College provided the place, and to some extent, the labor. The Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in New England financially supported these productions.
