Clarence S. Brigham - Few details are available about Brigham’s sitting for this portrait suggesting that this was a private commission. Fabian Bachrach, the name impressed on the print, usually stands for the studio founder’s son, Louis Fabian Bachrach (1917-2010). The photograph was the source for the painted portrait that Brigham also commissioned and donated to the Society in 1950. Clarence S. Brigham, photographic portrait by Fabian Bachrach, ca. 1940-1950.
