COME all you gallant heroes and listen unto me,<lb/>
While I relate a battle that was lately fought at sea<lb/>
So fierce and hot on every side as plainly it appears,<lb/>

And on the briny ocean, men never fought more bold,<lb/>
But on the point of victory, brave <name type ="historical">Nelson</name> he was slain,<lb/>

Nineteen of the enemies were taken and destroy'd<lb/>
You see the rage of <name type ="nationality">Britons</name> are not to be annoy'd?<lb/>
And ages yet unborn will have this story for to tell,<lb/>
